Deeper Well - A True Storytelling Album

Kacey Musgraves just released her latest album Deeper Well where she learned to understand goodbyes  while healing from her divorce. With this album Kacey has reverted back to the basics, the simplistically curated melodies with passionately hand crafted lyrics. I’ve never really taken the time to sit down and listen to Kacey Musgraves music until this album came out. I was struck by how moving this collection of songs were. Each track sounds so ordinary until you take a moment to dissect exactly what she is trying to convey. Once that is acknowledged, this fifteen track album goes from any other soft country album to a storytelling masterpiece.

Over the past few years i've grown a deep admiration for this country-folk that where artists like Kacey Musgraves focus on. This music style creates a relatively acoustic production that allows a highlight on the uniquely crafted lyrical story. Deeper Well is a perfect representation of this stylistic excellence. The production is not anything new and exciting which lets Kacey tell a continuous story that blends seamlessly throughout the entire album.

All in all, Deeper Well is a simple collection of songs that tell a beautiful story!
