As a girl in her early 20s , I was at the prime age for One Direction's prime era. Being such a huge fan of the band for the vast majority of my life, it was somewhat a full circle moment being able to see Niall Horan live on the Toronto Leg of his current tour. In terms of the bands solo work since their split, Niall's music has been some of my favorite so being able to see these songs live was amazing. My sister and I were very impatiently waiting years for Niall to come back to Toronto so when the day finally came we were thrilled. Just hours before the show our seats were upgraded from the furthest nosebleeds to 5 rows away side stage. To open the show was Del Water Gap who I've never heard of before but lets just say he gained a new fan after the performance.

Once Niall took the stage I was completely mesmerized. There was something indescribable about his stage presence and performance techniques that was unlike anything I've ever seen. His setlist was compiled of tracks ranging throughout his career with a variety of songs from all three of his albums and even Night Changes from his days in One Direction. Niall's sophomore album Heartbreak Weather is one one of my favourite albums of all time. Towards the start of the tour Niall was preforming a rotating setlist that changed almost every show so my sister and I were afraid he wouldn't sing our favourite song Still. To our delight, this track was preformed to close his set! Now, the interesting part about this is that artists will very rarely perform a slower song as a closer, but the way Niall used this track to send off his Toronto audience was fantastic! All 30,000 people singing along to such a beautiful lyrically driven song, feeling every single world as Niall sings to them nd they reciprocate. It was truly one of the most magical moments I've ever experienced!

In all honesty, Niall Horan put on one of the most astonishing concerts I've ever witnessed and I highly encourage anyone (fan or not) to catch a show of his!
